Meet the Team

  • An IRONMAN Certified Coach with qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring, Personal Training and a Certified TriDot Coach. Graham has spent over 25 years in the military, during that time he has travel extensively around the world, visiting a wide variety of countries and meeting many incredible people.

A keen sportsman and cyclist, during one of his training sessions in 2015, Graham was unfortunately knocked of his bike resulting in three broken vertebra, fractured hip, fractured wrist and fractured skull, leaving him requiring an operation to stabilize the spine and hospitalised for several weeks. During recovery in the hospital Graham set himself the target of completing an IRONMAN Triathlon the following year, a crazy goal considering walking at that time require a frame. In 2016 Graham completed IRONMAN Switzerland and has since completed numerous triathlons including 11 IRONMAN Triathlons, 2 IRONMAN World Championships and qualifying for IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in 2024. He has also completed numerous marathons and ultra marathons of varying distances from 30 - 77 miles.

    How can I help you?

I have learned over the years that absolutely anything really is possible with the correct coaching, training and mindset. For me the greatest feeling in the world is seeing others achieve their goals and dreams no matter how big or small these goals may seem. Life should be about enjoyment and having fun, I believe these are transferable qualities that should also be apparent whilst training. My aim is for you to achieve your personal goal without realising how far you’ve actually come and how hard you’ve worked to get there.

His skill is getting the best out of you to help you achieve amazing results; whether that’s Ultra, Adventure or IRONMAN. John will look at you, your strengths and areas needing development and work with you to be the best that you can be. The key is helping athletes develop autonomously, building self confidence and knowledge of themselves, their capabilities and strengths both physiologically and psychologically in whatever environment in which the athlete is based. Time crunched, young family, long working hours or just life is all considered and managed into your unique programme.

Learn from our mistakes

Bad diet, under training, over training, training with injuries, the list is endless and we’ve done it all.

You don’t need to make these mistakes because we’ve made them for you and learnt the lessons the hard way.

As well as a personalised training plan to see you through that finish line, we can offer nutrition advice to help you feel energies throughout training, advise you on race fuelling strategies to help get the most out of your race day. Our coaches will help you get through those tough periods, not only when training becomes more difficult due to increased volume but also when training can be limited due to injury, work commitments, family life or personal issues. We’ll adjust schedules, advise alternative training as well offer advice on strength and conditioning to enhance recovery.

None of us are professional athletes and life will always put obstacles in our way. Together we’ll overcome these and plan a new route to get back on track.
